The Christmas season is fast approaching and thoughts for many turn to hearty foods, warm clothing and perhaps the odd tickle of something stronger in the glass. And of course the ticking time bomb has begun for gifting, both personal and business. Between special clients, irreplaceable employees or friendly colleagues “it’s the most wonderful time of the year” (according to Andy Williams anyway).
So the big questions arise on what to purchase. The classic bottle of fine champagne is a sure fire bet, as is something sweet on the pallet. But how about this year, just for a change, you spend those extra few seconds of brain power scouring for something unique, memorable or personalised? Of course a lot depends upon the value of the relationship, and what the gift is meant to convey. Described here by Nance Rosen.
What are your thoughts on the perfect gift? Do you stick to tradition or dare to be different? Which important factors do you take into account when making that all important choice? At Borough Box we have some strong ideas of course because this subject matter is close to our hearts. As we now begin working with clients to build a series of bespoke, relevant gifts we get all warm and tingly inside knowing the festive joys our soon-to-launch Christmas range will bring to many SAD faces this winter. But we’re not the only business out there in this sector. Through who, and how, are you planning to leave your mark at the top of clients mind this festive season?
