With all the ‘foodie’ talk going on here in the BoroughBox.com offices, I sometimes feel the artisan drink producers get left behind.
I decided I needed to do something about this and so, I invite you to come along on my weekend ‘drinkie’ experience.
Bordeaux Barrel Aged Negroni Cocktail
We’re kicking off the weekend with style with this my Friday night choice. This beauty won the gold medal at the Spirits Business Masters Competition and featured in the Daily Telegraph and the Daily Mail. Hand-Made with Tanqueray Gin, Sacred Rosehip Bitter Liqueur, Martini Rosso Vermouth and Zing Serenity Bitters it’s then aged in a Bordeaux wine cask.
Mischief On The River
Forget about the Saturday shopping experience and leave the crowd behind. Grab a case of 12 bottles of this crisp cider and relax by the river. You’ll have visions of dappled sunshine, and lose track of time while swapping tall stories with friends. Is that the Kooks I hear playing the background? A perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
Sea Buckthorn & White Tea Sparkling Drink
What no alcohol? This should be called alcohol-free champagne. It’s produced in Normandy, from all natural fruits and flowers, with no added sugar, preservatives or colourants. It’s refined, classy and has Saturday night party written all over it.
Little Devil Big Barrel
Were you a Saturday night angel? Become a Sunday Devil with this ‘Big Barrel’. There’s enough Bloody Mary mix (separate sachets) to make 24 individual drinks. It’s your choice whether you go for a Virgin Mary or get the Vodka out – but this will have a real kick either way. Maybe wait until midday if you didn’t come home until this morning.
Orange British Artisan Gin
Put away the tonic water. You won’t need it this for this lazy Sunday afternoon aperitif. Grab that book you’ve been meaning to finish and a tumbler of ice. Slow pour and embrace sophisticated swirls of Seville Orange, Tangerine and Zesty Lemon for lip-smacking satisfaction.
You can find all these, and many more worth exploring, in our drink gifts range on BoroughBox.com
It was a pleasure enjoying the weekend with you – until next time!
