Louola’s was founded 6 months ago by Louise Amy Lee, a 22- year old nutritional therapy student. Louise says, “Louola’s was born from my absolute addiction to cereals. I could happily eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. But as my knowledge of nutrition grew, I became frustrated that commercial cereals are often highly processed and full of sugar. The ‘ hidden sugars’ in your typical breakfast cereal are shocking, but I was even more concerned to find out how high in sugar the so called ‘healthy’ choices are. After embarking on a paleo challenge and finding no grain-free cereal alternative, I decided to create my own. I strived to make something sugar free, that was nutritionally balanced and filled with goodness. I spent hours and hours in my kitchen playing around with different ingredients and after a lot of experimenting, Louola’s Superfood Quinola was born.
