Nutritionist and wellbeing specialist Dr Deborah Quinn (MBBS, BSc hons, Dip Nut Med, Dip Nut) has over 20 years’ experience in health and wellbeing. After qualifying as a medical doctor 20 years ago, and working in medicine in Newcastle and Kent, Deborah decided to take her passion for physiology and nutrition further, and chose to pursue a career in nutritional medicine. Her interest developed when she became ill herself whilst working in hospital medicine.
Taking a holistic approach, Deborah uses herbs, foods, ‘friendly’ bacteria, minerals, vitamins and individual lifestyle recommendations to optimise function within the body. Deborah has a unique understanding of the human body and often treats clients whose symptoms have become too challenging for other therapists. Deborah works with people who are seriously ill or those that just want to increase their energy, fitness and comfort, helping them if possible to overcome expertly identified obstacles to improvement. Deborah has a great understanding about wellbeing from her own journey, education and experience.
